Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Foreign Minister of Denmark Lars Rasmussen on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in new York on September 19.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, noted the need to intensify political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as to organize mutual visits at various levels, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The sides discussed interaction within international organizations and the European Union on the multilateral agenda.
During the meeting, the importance of increasing economic interaction, maintaining mutual contacts, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties was emphasized.
Kulubaev suggested that the Danish side consider the possibility of holding inter-MFA consultations, establishing an intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation, organizing joint business forums, as well as establishing cooperation in the field of education in future.
