The arrival of the military contingent from Belarus to participate in the joint exercise with the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) peacekeeping forces, named Indestructible Brotherhood-2023, has marked the completion of troop regrouping in the exercise area.
According to the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry’s press service, the Belarusian military contingent conducted an air flight from Baranovichi airfield to the military airfield in Kant air base. Subsequently, they traveled using military equipment provided by the Kyrgyz side to the exercise location in Balykchy town. A ceremonial reception by the exercise leadership was held at the formation ground of military unit 20636.
On October 9-3, the Kyrgyz Republic will host the joint CSTO peacekeeping drills Indestructible Brotherhood-2023 on the premises of the training center Edelweiss, which is part of military unit 20636 of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense. The exercise will involve military contingents from Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, and Tajikistan. Additionally, operational groups from the CSTO Joint Staff and Secretariat will participate in these joint exercises.
