Germany intends to conclude agreements with six countries, including Kyrgyzstan, on combating illegal migration. It will allow illegal migrants to be quickly returned to their homeland. The German publication Deutsche Welle writes about this.
According to the publication, the German government is now negotiating with Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Moldova, Kenya and Colombia on a migration partnership that provides for the rapid return of illegal migrants to their homeland.
Negotiations with the two Central Asian countries have already progressed quite far, the publication notes. At the beginning of May, a memorandum of understanding was signed with Uzbekistan, and at the end of September – with Kyrgyzstan.
According to the press secretary of the German Ministry of Internal Affairs, we are talking about reducing the number of illegal refugees and at the same time creating opportunities for legal immigration to Germany.
