Kyrgyzstan is one of the attractive areas of activity for Swiss businessmen. This was stated by participants in a remote meeting between the President of the Trade and Industry Board of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev and the Director of the United Chamber of Commerce of Switzerland Dorita Sallis.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry. Temir Sariev expressed Kyrgyzstan’s interest in building up trade and economic relations with Switzerland.
Dorita Sallis noted that Kyrgyzstan is also one of the attractive areas of activity for Swiss businessmen and confirmed her readiness to actively interact with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The parties noted that such economic sectors as banking, financial services, textile industry, production and trade of agricultural products, attracting Swiss investments in this industry, as well as in the construction of small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants, technology transfer, and tourism development are very promising areas of cooperation between two commercial and industrial boards.
