There are 204 unfinished school buildings since 2015, Deputy Director of State Architecture and Construction Agency Talantbek Imanakun uulu said at the meeting of the Parliament Committee for Transport, Communications, Architecture and Construction on October 24.
“Construction of 100 schools began at the instruction of the President in 2023. Construction of 43 schools was finished. We plan to commission 59 schools by the end of the year,” he said.
100 school construction projects were included into the construction list for 2024, he added.
When asked about long-delayed construction, the Deputy Director replied: “The Cabinet of Ministers has set the task to finish long-delayed school buildings first.
