Tajikistan is working on a plan to export freshwater from Sarez Lake to Gulf countries and other regions experiencing water scarcity, according to Tajik Ambassador to Kuwait, Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda, as reported by Kuwait Moments. Uzbekistan is hosting the 25th session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization. The event is attended by representatives of 133 countries, including a delegation from Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz Republic’s economy is projected to grow more slowly in 2023 due to a slowdown in gold production and the impact of unfavorable weather on agriculture, despite strong performance of services, according to a new Asian Development Bank (ADB) report.
