Expanding Central Asia connectivity

Commencing on August 20th, flynas will initiate direct flights from Osh, the second-largest city in Kyrgyzstan.

Shortly after, on September 2nd, the airline will also launch flights from Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

These routes will operate with three weekly direct flights, resulting in a total of six weekly flights between the two cities.

This move is set to facilitate convenient travel options and promote increased connectivity for travelers from Central Asia to Saudi Arabia.

In addition, flynas aims to strengthen the air connectivity between Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, and Jeddah. Starting from September 2nd, the airline will introduce two weekly direct flights on this route.

This strategic expansion aligns with the broader efforts of the Saudi ecosystem to attract 100 million annual tourists to the Kingdom by 2030.

Boosting Tashkent services

Flynas recognizes the importance of the Tashkent market in Uzbekistan and also holds plans to futher enhance travel options for visitors to and from this city.

Starting August 20th, flynas will upgrade its offering with three weekly direct flights from Tashkent to Jeddah, building upon the success of the route’s initial launch on September 14th, 2022.

This significant milestone in air connectivity was made possible through the collaboration of a thriving domestic ecosystem and the expertise of the Air Connectivity Program (ACP) in developing robust air routes.

As a leading airline in the region, flynas currently operates an extensive network that spans over 70 domestic and international destinations, with an impressive frequency of 1,500 weekly flights.

Since its establishment in 2007, flynas has served over 60 million passengers. With a steadfast commitment to growth, flynas aims to expand its reach even further, aspiring to serve a total of 165 domestic and international destinations.

This recent expansion aligns perfectly with the objectives of Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s ambitious plan to diversify its economy and develop the tourism sector, contributing to increased air connectivity within Saudi Arabia.

flynas’ partnership with the Air Connectivity Program marks a further step towards the planned growth of tourism and the strengthening of ties between Central Asia and Saudi Arabia.
