Explosions were heard in the area of the Russian-occupied Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. They were recorded by the observers of the IAEA mission.
He noted that IAEA experts recorded explosions on July 26 and 27. The observers also found mines on the territory of the station.
“Recently, we have information from representatives of the IAEA, who are permanently located at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, that mines have been identified. The latest information was that they heard explosions on July 26 and 27,” Korikov said.
The situation at the occupied ZNPP
As previously reported, the head of the GUR, Kirill Budanov, said that the Russians additionally mined the ZNPP. According to him, the invaders placed explosives on the coolers of power units.
Also, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky warned about a possible attempt at a terrorist attack at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
Earlier, IAEA observers said they did not find explosives at the station. However, a few days ago, exporters reported that they found anti-personnel mines on the territory of the ZNPP.
