More than 26,000 Kyrgyzstanis left for Russia in the first half of 2023. According to the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), 28,700 migrants from Kyrgyzstan arrived in Russia in the first half of the year.

The number of those who left Russia for Kyrgyzstan in the first six months of this year reached 20,500 people.

In 2022, about 28,400 migrants from Kyrgyzstan left for Russia during the same period. The number of those who left Russia for Kyrgyzstan amounted to 43,600 people.

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Department of Control and Supervision Service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Yuri Konobeevsky reported that in the first six months of 2023 the flow of Kyrgyzstanis to Russia increased by 45 percent and reached 460,000 people, 57 percent of them came to work.
