Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov met with Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
Akylbek Japarov noted a rather high level of bilateral relations. He said Kyrgyzstan attaches a special importance to development of friendly ties with Mongolia. He expressed interest in further expansion and deepening of political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.
“I am glad to note that the current bilateral relations are steady and are developing upward. Cooperation is characterized by mutual understanding and common stances. We cooperate successfully on international arena in the framework of international and regional organizations. In this regard we highly value the outcomes of the state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Mongolia in July 2023,” Akylbek Japarov said.
Akylbek Japarov went on saying that implementation of the reached agreements between the heads of state allows to expand bilateral trade and economic relations.
The Cabinet Chairman underscored importance of increase of bilateral trade, signing trilateral agreement on road transport between Mongolia, China and Kyrgyzstan, joining the existing agreement on international road transportation on a network of Asian roads.
Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrain Oyun-Erdene expressed gratitude for hospitality and warm welcome, saying the to nations are historically and culturally fraternal nations.
The Mongolian Prime Minister stressed importance of further expansion and deepening of bilateral cooperation and interaction in many areas, including in trade, economic, mining, transport, agricultural and other spheres. He also noted a good work of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Mongolia, which was opened in summer 2023.
The Mongolian Prime Minister highlighted importance of practical implementation of earlier reached agreements between the heads of state.
The heads of government of Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan discussed a broad range of bilateral cooperation issues.
The bilateral documents were signed following the talks.
The agreement of cooperation in education and science was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Mongolia.
The memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed between the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Investment and Trade Agency of Mongolia.
