Kyrgyzstan plans to cooperate with Electricite de France. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Today in Bishkek there was a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aibek Moldogaziev and the representative of the largest state-owned energy generating company in France, Electricite de France (EDF) in Central Asia, Pierre-Paul Antonissens and the French Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Francois Delaus.
The parties discussed economic cooperation in the energy sector and emphasized mutual interest in implementing joint projects in Kyrgyzstan with the participation of EDF, as well as further steps in this direction.
They also considered issues of bilateral partnership, interaction within international organizations and intensification of political dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and France.
