Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev took part in the International Investment and Mining and Metallurgical Forum and Exhibition held in Dushanbe, KABAR reports.

During the event, the minister drew attention to the importance of the Central Asian region in the global commodity chain.

In his speech, Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized that Central Asian countries traditionally play a key role in supplying the world market with precious and non-ferrous metals, rare earth metals and fossil fuels.

“Almost the entire periodic table is concentrated in the subsoil of our countries. We have the potential to become the most important raw materials exchange for technology companies, as well as to create infrastructure for deep processing of resources, cooperating with neighboring republics,” the minister said.

In conclusion, Amangeldiev called on the countries of the region to focus on introducing modern technologies, attracting investment and developing human resources, as well as improving legislation.

He added that Kyrgyzstan is ready to share its experience and experience in these areas, contributing to the joint development and prosperity of the region.
