An international medical event is held in Samarkand on August 16-17. A delegation from Kyrgyzstan takes part in the event.
The event aims to ensure the well-being and health of the population of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, including Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, the Ministry of Health reports.
The Congress was opened by Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev, who spoke about the event’s significance, goals and the expected results.
Deputy Minister of Health Tilek Mamadaliev said that innovative proposals will be made during the congress to improve the healthcare system of the participating countries.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan has adopted the National Development Program until 2026, which defines the main socio-economic initiatives for the development of the country.
This program is aimed at strengthening systems that ensure the health of the population and providing quality services throughout the country. It contributes to the maximum improvement in the health of the population, reducing health inequalities, and financial protection.
Mamadaliyev noted that the expansion of cooperation in the field of organ transplantation between the OTS countries is an urgent issue.
